● Mrs. P. D. Claassen received the tragic news here Saturday that her brother, Dr. Cornelius Penner, 63, had died suddenly as he and his wife were visiting their children at Covina, Calif. Although Dr. Penner had appeared in good health, death was due to a heart attack. He was a history teacher for 21 years at Baldwin and Wallace College, Berea, Ohio, where the family resided and where funeral services are to be held later this week. Surviving besides the immediate family are one brother, Rev. Wm. Penner of Vermont, and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Claassen of Beatrice, Nebr. and Mrs. Claassen of Newton.
