• Mrs. Dave J. Schroeder, 47, a teacher at the Hillcrest School near Moundridge, died Saturday forenoon at the Halstead Hospital. The largely attended funeral services took place Monday afternoon at the Buhler Mennonite Brethren Church with Rev. Wm. Neufeld, the pastor, and Rev. James Waltner of Newton officiating. Mrs. Schroeder, the former Hilda Schmidt, was a member of the Tabor Mennonite church. Surviving are her husband of the home on Route 1, Moundridge; a daughter, Katherine, a student at Tabor College; a son, Duane of New Orleans, La.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Schmidt of Walton; four sisters and five brothers. Mrs. Arnold Zielke of Newton is a sister. | |||
