• Funeral services for Emil Seiler, 89, retired farmer of the Halstead community, were held Sunday afternoon at the Grace Mennonite church west of Halstead, with Rev. Carl Dirks and Rev. Arnold Wiggers officiating. Mr. Seiler died March 14 at Mercy Hospital in Moundridge. A native of Switzerland, he came to the Halstead area from France in 1893. He leaves his widow, the former Lena Dirks, two sons, one daughter, 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. | |||
