Accidents in Manitoba Claim Two Lives

Altona, Manitoba. — Two persons died in separate traffic accidents in this Red River Valley area within a few days time.

Peter T. Klassen, 58, well-known appliance service man of Winkler, was killed when his car skidded on an icy stretch of road and rolled down an embankment pinning him underneath.

Seven-year-old Ernie Kurt Friesen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry D. Friesen of Horndean, was fatally hurt when the Friesen auto collided with another vehicle at an intersection northwest of here.
