Long-Time Teacher Dies in Oklahoma

Corn, Okla. — Funeral services for Miss Louise Warkentin, 55, who spent most of her adult years as a public school teacher, were conducted at the Corn Mennonite Brethren Church. She died at the Clinton hospital after a long illness of cancer.

Miss Warkentin taught school in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Colorado, including several years as a science teacher in the Corn School. While teaching at Cimarron, Kan. during the 1961-62 school year, she underwent surgery and was forced to giveup her position due to health.

Surviving are her mother, Mrs. H. J. Warkentin of Corn, six sisters and two brothers.
