Retired Stone Mason Died At Age 87
Sugarcreek, Ohio. — Andrew S. Hamsher, 87, retired stone mason of the Walnut Creek community died at his home Oct. 10. He was a long-time member of the Walnut Creek Mennonite church, where funeral services were conducted Oct. 13 by Paul R. Miller and Venus Hershberger.
A native of Bourbon, Ind., he had served as clerk of Walnut Creek township for 28 years in addition to his work as a builder.
Surviving are his wife, Amanda, four sons, two daughters, 30 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
