<center><h3>TWO WELL-KNOWN EUROPEAN MENNONITES DIE IN AUGUST </h3></center> 
Akron, Pa. (MCC) &#8212; Word has been received in Akron of the recent deaths of two well known European Mennonites &#8212; Dr. Jacob ter Meulen and Mrs. Pierre (Helene) Widmer. 
Dr. Jacob ter Meulen, librarian at the Peace Palace in The Hague, died on Aug. 12, 1962.  He was 77.  He is survived by his widow. 
Mrs. Pierre Widmer died on Friday, Aug. 24.  Funeral services were held on Sunday, Aug. 26.  Pierre Widmer is one of the Mennonite leaders in France.

TWO WELL-KNOWN EUROPEAN MENNONITES DIE IN AUGUST

Akron, Pa. (MCC) — Word has been received in Akron of the recent deaths of two well known European Mennonites — Dr. Jacob ter Meulen and Mrs. Pierre (Helene) Widmer.

Dr. Jacob ter Meulen, librarian at the Peace Palace in The Hague, died on Aug. 12, 1962. He was 77. He is survived by his widow.

Mrs. Pierre Widmer died on Friday, Aug. 24. Funeral services were held on Sunday, Aug. 26. Pierre Widmer is one of the Mennonite leaders in France.
