BETTY LOU SUDERMAN, 8
Betty Lou Suderman of East Kildonan drowned accidentally on April 7 near Winkler, Man. She was playing on the ice of her grandfather's farm pond when she disappeared with a scream. Her cousin immediately rised the alarm, but she was not found until 20 minutes later. All efforts could not revive her. She was born in Regina, Sask. She loved the things of God, often expressing her ambition of being a missionary. Her Bible story book was lying open on her desk where she left it when the family drove to visit in Winkler. She is survived by her sorrowing parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Suderman, her sister Sara Jane, grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins. Funeral services took place in the South End church on April 11.
