Fall From Tree Fatal To Father of Two
Kidron, Ohio. — Injuries suffered in a fall from a tree proved fatal to Homer E. Geier, 38. On Oct. 27.
The accident occurred at the farm of his mother, Mr. [sic] Clara Geiser, where he and his family had gone to gather hickory nuts. The family had only recently returned to the home community after living at Cucamonga, Calif. for five years. Mr. Geiser was employed at a Dalton body shop.
Survivors include his wife Hilda, a daughter Marjorie, 12, and son Loren, 9, his mother, four sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services were held at the Kidron Mennonite Church.
