Two Amish Ministers Called By Death

Bareville, Pa. — Two Amish ministers of the Lancaster County region were called away in death within recent weeks.

Pre. Christian B. King died May 5 at his home on Route 1, Ronks, after a long illness of cancer. He was the last member of his family. Surviving are his second wife, Lizzie Fisher King, five daughters, one son, nine grandchildren and two great grandchidlren.

Pre. Daniel M. Stoltzfus, 74, a minister in the Conestoga district, became ill after helping conduct a communion service and died several days later in the hospital. The funeral services on May 2 were largely attended.

He leaves his widow, Mary Smucker Stoltzfus, five daughters and one son, 26 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
