— Mrs. Ida E. Decker, 77, wife of Jacob H. Decker, died Thursday, April 27, at the Bethel Deaconess Hospital where she had been a patient for five days. She had been seriously ill for about a month. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the First Mennonite Church, Rev. Arnold Epp officiating. A native of the Halstead community, Mrs. Decker had lived in Newton the past 16 years. Surviving in addition to her husband are five sons, Orville of Salida, Colo., La Verne of Peabody, Glenn of Burns, Dwight of Moundridge and Dwayne of Newton; two brothers, two sisters, 14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. | |||
