Corn, Okla. &#8212;  J. L. Martin, 81, well known retired farmer here and a resident of this community much of his life, died at Mercy hospital in Oklahoma City on April 4.  He suffered a fatal heart attack while under anaesthesia in preparation for surgery.     
Mr. Martin farmed at several locations near here before his retirement.  He was much interested in community projects, which he supported with both work and finances.   
Funeral services were held April 8 at the Corn Mennonite Brethren Church, of which he was a member.

Long-Time Resident Of Corn, Okla. Dies

Corn, Okla. — J. L. Martin, 81, well known retired farmer here and a resident of this community much of his life, died at Mercy hospital in Oklahoma City on April 4. He suffered a fatal heart attack while under anaesthesia in preparation for surgery.

Mr. Martin farmed at several locations near here before his retirement. He was much interested in community projects, which he supported with both work and finances.

Funeral services were held April 8 at the Corn Mennonite Brethren Church, of which he was a member.
