&#8212;  Funeral services were to be held in Montezuma Thursday, for Jacob B. Eck, aged 77, who died last Sunday in Trinity Hospital at Dodge City.  A brother, Dave Eck, lives in Newton.  Born in 1882 at Moundridge, Mr. Eck made the run with his parents into the Cherokee Strip in Oklahoma, and grew up there.  In 1907 he was married to Katie Wedel, who preceded him in death in 1948.  Surviving him are three daughters, three sons, 20 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.  Rev. Lyman Sprunger was to conduct the funeral.
