Elaine Bartel, 71, Kansas City, KS, passed away November 20, 2014. She is survived by her husband, Verlin Bartel, parents Arthur and Ruth Schmidt, Walton, KS, brother Archie (Kris) Schmidt, sister Ada (Wes) Schmidt-Tieszen, daughters Heather (David) Bradford and Olivia Bartel, and grandchildren Isaac and Anna Bradford. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, January 3, 2014 at Rainbow Mennonite Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Rainbow Mennonite Church, 1444 Southwest Blvd., KCKS 66103, designated for Freedom School with the check written to "Sharing Community in Rosedale". Cremation. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.CremationCenterKC.com. <br /> | |||
