Farmer-Blacksmith Found Dead in Home

Middlebury, Ind. — Mose D. Troyer, 61, well known farmer and blacksmith of Route 2, Middlebury, was found dead at his farm home the evening of Dec. 29. He apparently suffered a fatal heart attack during the afternoon or evening while his wife was at work in a Middlebury restaurant.

A native of this vicinity, Mr. Troyer spent a number of years at Arthur, Ill., returning here in 1936. He is survived by the widow, four sons and three daughters, 16 grandchildren, and a large relationship including five brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services were conducted Jan. 1 at the Middlebury Mennonite church.
