— Mrs. Barbara Schmidt, 85, for many years a resident of the Moundridge community, died Tuesday evening, Dec. 23, at the Bethel Home for Aged in Newton, where she had made her home for more than seven years. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the West Zion Mennonite Church in Moundridge. Rev. Harris Waltner officiating. Mrs. Schmidt's husband, Ernest B. Schmidt, died in 1947. Surviving are three daughters and one son, and three grandsons. | |||
