Death came suddenly and unexpectedly to Jacob J. G. Funk, East Steinbach, Jan. 13. Mr. Funk was sitting at Peter B. Reimer's lunch counter in apparent good health when after drinking a cup of coffee, he suddenly fell over dead.

Death came suddenly and unexpectedly to Jacob J. G. Funk, East Steinbach, Jan. 13. Mr. Funk was sitting at Peter B. Reimer's lunch counter in apparent good health when after drinking a cup of coffee, he suddenly fell over dead.

The deceased is survived by his wife of a second marriage, nine children of his first marriage, seven step-children and two children from the second marriage. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Jan. 19, at the local Bergthaler church.
