John Pankratz, beloved husband of Barbara, born December 13, 1899 in Russia was called home into glory very suddenly March 23, 1974.  He leaves to mourn two sons: Arvid of Gem, Alta. and Leonard of California; one daugher, Clare (Beers) of Calgary: one sister of Clearbrook, and four grandchildren.

He accepted the Lord as his Saviour and was baptized in Alexandertal, Russia.  He was married in March, 1926 and immigrated to Canada in the spring of 1930.  He was a censorship examiner in Ottawa.  Upon his return he bought a bee-keeping business and was self-employed untilhis retirement in 1966.  He was active right tot he end as a bee inspector in the lower Fraser Valley.
