Hillsboro, Kan. &#8212; Funeral services were held at the Alexanderfeld Church near here last Sunday afternoon for Frank G. Hiebert, 69, who suffered fatal injuries in a collision southwest of here Tuesday, Dec. 17. Ministers Jona Dyck of Hillsboro and Reuben Koehn of Goltry, Okla. officiated.

Mr. Hiebert, well-known retired farmer here, was coming out of a farm driveway onto a country road when his car was struck by another car driven by his great-nephew, Allen Gene Hiebert,16, of Route 1, Hillsboro. Investigating officers said the crash was unavoidable.

The elder Mr. Hiebert was brought to Salem hospital where he died a short time later. The young man was kept at the hospital over night, but apparently was not seriously hurt.

Fatally Injured In Crash Near Hillsboro

FUNERAL SERVICES FOR FRANK G. HIEBERT HELD SUNDAY AFTERNOON

Hillsboro, Kan. — Funeral services were held at the Alexanderfeld Church near here last Sunday afternoon for Frank G. Hiebert, 69, who suffered fatal injuries in a collision southwest of here Tuesday, Dec. 17. Ministers Jona Dyck of Hillsboro and Reuben Koehn of Goltry, Okla. officiated.

Mr. Hiebert, well-known retired farmer here, was coming out of a farm driveway onto a country road when his car was struck by another car driven by his great-nephew, Allen Gene Hiebert,16, of Route 1, Hillsboro. Investigating officers said the crash was unavoidable.
