— Mrs. Johann Epp, 86, died Dec. 5 at the Axtell Christian Hospital where she had been admitted the previous day after sustaining a fractured hip in a fall at the Bethesda Home in Goessel. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the First Mennonite Church, Hillsboro, with Rev. Elbert Koontz in charge. Mrs. Epp was born in Russia and came to the United States at the age of 16. She had lived at the Bethesda Home the past 12 years. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Margaret Krause of Reedley, Calif., and eight step-children including J. E. Epp and Mrs. G. M. Schmidt of Newton.
