GRACE BLOCK
Helen Grace Block was born in Russia in 1924, settling with her family near Main Center, Sask., in 1926. She lost her mother in 1929, and a second mother in 1947. Since 1959 she lived in Saskatoon with her third mother, her father having died in 1956. She worked at the University Hospital. During the last 15 years she struggled intermittently with cancer, yet she never complained, knowing that her heavenly Father was looking after her.
Helen was a member of the Central MB Church in Saskatoon, and enjoyed serving t he Lord in the Sunday School prayer and witness is left for others to follow. She died on January 21. Left to mourn are her mother Elizabeth, five brothers and eight sisters, with their respective families.
