MRS. PETER J. REIMER

Maria Reimer (nee Janz) was born on November 18, 1897 in Podo'lsk, in the Ukraine. She was save,d in her youth and upon the confession of her faith, she was baptized and received into the Mennonite Brethren church. On December 18, 1918 she was married to Peter J. IReimer ,in Podolsk. Thirteen children were born to the union, 120f whom are still living.

They came to Canada in 1924, living first in Saskatchewan and moving to Coaldale ,in 1936. She was predeceased Iby her husband in 1951 and by one son, John, - in 1971. He'rlast desire expressed on her deathbed was that al'l the family might love the Lord as she did and ~hat she would meet them all a,gain in heaven.

Surviving are 12 ,children, Mrs. H. (Helen) Wiebe, Coaldale, Mrs. A. (Margaret) Stickel, Lethbridge, Mrs. E. (Mary) Friesen, Coaldale, Mrs . T. (Hilda) Wiens, Winnipeg, Mrs.G. (Tina) Van Rijn, Surrey, B.C., Mrs. T. ('loretta) Kaminski, HardieviHe, Alta., Peter o'f Regina, George of Vancouver, Rudy of Calgary, We'ldon of Cranbrook, B.C., Herman of The Pas, Man., and Arno'id of Kirkland, Wash. The funeral was conducted from the Coaldale (Alta.) Church on January 13 wi1h Rev. D. J. Pankratz ministering.
