Upon the answer of earnest prayer she decided to migrate from Poland to the United States. She arrived in Hillsboro, Kansas, about 1898. In 1903 she decided to visit Oklahoma. She had planned to go to California but instead felt that the Lord needed her in Oklahoma.

MRS. PAULINE SCHMIDT

Pauline Javorsky Schmidt was born to Mr. and Mrs. John Javorsky in Russian Poland on Feb. 3, 1882. Death came to her on August 25, 1955, at 5;15 p.m. in her home in Cordell, Okla. She had reached the age o 73 years, six months and 22 days.

Mother was saved at the age of 14 and was baptized at the age of 15 by Elder Peter Ratslaff, and was received into the fellowship of the Mennonite Brethren Church while yet in Poland.
