KENNETH DAVID SUDERMAN

Kenneth David Suderman was born to John and Susan Suderman of Prince George, B.C. on January 28, 1968. His short life ended on Saturday, November 6, 1971. Kenneth lived a full life inspite 01 his illness and suffering. He took a keen interest in activities at home and wherever he went. He loved to play his records and during the past year often listened to the song, "Heaven is a wonderful place, full of glory and grace; I want to see my Saviour's face, Heaven is a wonderful place. I want to go there ...." He kept a tune so well and sang this song with tender voice and heartfelt feeling. Sunday school was a very enjoyable part of his life and when he was too ill to go he cried bitterly that he could not go with the rest of the family.

Kenneth spent quite a normal childhood. On Mother's Day, 1969, he was dedicated at the children's dedication service in the Peden Hill Church. Two weeks later he was hospitalized and tests revealed for the first time that he had leukemia. He was 16 months old at the time. Since then he had a number of months during which he was quite well and thoroughly enjoyed family life. Though he suffered a number of relapses, he never gave up wanting to learn and see new things. A highlight for him had been a vacation to Jasper and this was the topic of conversation with him even on the last night of his life. His spirit remained strong and radiant even though his condition deteriorated toward the end and he won his way into the hearts of many through his uncomplaining, sweet personality. His family is comforted, to know that he is in Heaven and safe in Jesus' arms, where there is no more death, nor sorrow, nor pain.

Kenneth lived to be three years and nine months. He is survived by his parents, John and Susan Suderman; one sister, Gail; two brothers, Brian and Michael; his grandparents; and many loving relatives and friends.
