MARY REMPEL

Mary Rempel was born in Brandon, Man., on June 24, 1928, the fourth child of Peter and Agatha Langeman. Her parents moved to the Leamington, Ontario area in 1936 and this became their permanent home, Mary made her commitment to the Saviour when she was 16 years old, and was baptized in 1944, joining the Leamington Church,

On April 15, 1955 she was married to Edwin Rempel. Their marriage was blessed with three children. Mary was known among her friends as a devoted wife and mother. She loved to entertain and her friendly smile will long be remembered by those who visited her immaculate home.

God chose to test her like he did Job of old. She patiently bore pain and suffering until God called her home on July 13, at the age of 43.

She leaves to mourn her husband, Edwin; two sons, David and Peter; one daughter, Mary Ann; her mother, Agatha Langeman; two brothers, Peter and Harry of Leamington; and two sisters, Mrs, Dan H. (Ann) Klassen of Leamington and Mrs, Rudy (Frieda) Dueckman of Brampton.
