— Funeral services were held at the Tabor Mennonite church Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Marie Schmidt, 75, of Goessel, who died Thursday, Sept. 8, two days after suffering a stroke of paralysis. She was born near Lehigh Aug. 18, 1880, and was a charter member of the Tabor congregation. The services were in charge of Rev. H. B. Schmidt, assisted by Rev. P. A. Wedel. She is survived by her husband, C. J. Schmidt, six daughters, two sons, 24 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. | |||
