ANNA JOHANNA EPP
Mrs. Anna Johanna Epp was born on January 7, 1882 in Chortitza, Russia, the daughter of Johann and Anna von Kampen. She was married to Kornelius K. Epp on June 5. 1901. They came to Canada in 1923, settling in the Herbert area. They farmed near Swift Current from 1925 to 1943 when they moved into Swift Current. She accepted Christ as her personal Saviour and was baptize-d upon her confession of faith and accepted into the Mennonite Brethren church 'in 1931, remaining a member until her passing. On October 18, 1970, she went to be with her Lord. She was predeceased by her husband in 1967 and a sister and four brothers.
She is survived by six daughters. Mrs. George (Helen) Rempel, Saskatoon; Mrs. Mrs. Jacob (Anna) Nickel. Clearbrook, B.C.; Mrs. Frank (Nettie) Peters, Swift Current; Catherine Epp, Swift Current; Mrs, Arthur (Margaret) Dirksen, Medicine Hat, Alta.; and four sons, Isaac and his wife I<aty of Kelowna, B.C.; John and his wife Helen, lVIedsteJd, Susk.; Cornelius and his wife Mary, Swift Current; and Jacob and his wife Mary, also of Swift Current. Also surviving are 51 grandch·iidren, 84 great grandchildren, tl:ree sisters and many friends.
