— Funeral services for John H. Becker, retired farmer of the Halstead community, were held Monday afternoon at the Grace Mennonite church there, Rev. Carl Dirks and Rev. Paul Becker of officiating. Burial was made in the Lone Tree cemetery. Mr. Becker who was 73, died Dec. 28 shortly after being admitted to the Halstead hospital. He is survived by his wife, Sarah, a sister; Mrs. Ben Koehn, and three brothers, Peter, Adam and Abe Becker, all of Galva.
