JACOB PETER DYCK

Jacob Peter Dyck of Yarrow, B.C. passed away at the ChiHiwack General Hospital on January 12. He was 72. Mr. Dyck was born on October 10, 1897 in the Ukra,ine. He emigrated to Canada in 1926 and Nved at Gilroy, Sask., after coming to this country, until 1941 . Inthat year he moved with h is family to the Yarrow area.

He is survived by his wife Kathe·rin e; six sons, Jacob and Cornel,ius of Yarrow, P'eter, Ben and Henry of OhiHiwack, and John of V e·dder Cross'ing; three daughters, Mrs. John (Kay) ScheHenberg and Mrs. Louis (Helen) Thiessen of Yarrow, and Mrs. Ann Reimer of Burnaby; and 34 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

The funeral was observed from the Yarrow Church on January 15, with Rev. H,G, Thielman mmlstenng with Rev. Jacob Dyck and Rev. John Bell also participating.
