DAVID PETER KLASSEN

David Peter Klassen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter J. Klassen, was born November 1, 1926 at Dundurn, Sask. The foHowing year the family moved to Coulter, Man., where they lived for 10 years before coming to Black Creek, B.C. in 1937.

David accepted Christ as his personal Saviour in his early teens. On August 19, 1945 he was baptized and accepted , into the membership of the Black Creek Mennonite Brethren Church. He was married to Katie Fast on August 31, 1952.

David's life was characterized by a sincere and quiet faith in God. He will always be remembered for his willing, faithful service to God, to the church and to his fellowmen. One service which he especially enjoyed was singing in the church choir of which he was a member for 28 years. The memory of his friendly smile and cheerful, positive attitude will always he a comfort and inspiration to his loved ones and friends.

On Saturday morning, December 20, while employed by Macmillan Bloedel Limited, David died instantly when he fell from a bridge which was being repaired.
