He died at the age of 82 years, 11 months and 6 days of acute indigestion or infection of the stomach. He was sick only three days, but in terrible pains. He died at the Salem hospital. — Hillsboro Star. | |||

The funeral services of Mr. Frantz [sic Franz] F. Janzen were held at the M. B. church Sunday, August 14, 1927 and interment made at the Mennonite cemetery south of town.
