● Miss Elizabeth Richert, 87, died Saturday at the Bethesda Home in Goessel, where she had been a resident since 1967.  The funeral was conducted Monday afternoon at the Goessel Mennonite Church, with Rev. Henry Goossen officiating.  Miss Richert, a native of the Goessel community, was a registered nurse and during her life had served at the Bethesda Hospital and Bethel Deaconess Hospital as well as doing private duty nursing.  She resided in Newton from 1942 to 1967.  She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. George Abrahams and Mrs. D. V Schmidt, both of Goessel.
