Whitewater, Kans. — Gus H. Regier, 81, only remaining resident here who was a member of the Prussian immigrant group of 1876, died at the Axtell hospital in Newton on Aug. 19. He was well known as a stockman and farmer, and lived on the same farm for 72 years.

Funeral services were conducted at the Emmaus Mennonite church near here Tuesday afternoon, with Rev. Walter H. Dyck in charge.

Survivors include his wife, Ella, two sons and two daughters.

LAST SURVIVOR OF PRUSSIAN IMMIGRANTS CALLED IN DEATH

Whitewater, Kans. — Gus H. Regier, 81, only remaining resident here who was a member of the Prussian immigrant group of 1876, died at the Axtell hospital in Newton on Aug. 19. He was well known as a stockman and farmer, and lived on the same farm for 72 years.

Funeral services were conducted at the Emmaus Mennonite church near here Tuesday afternoon, with Rev. Walter H. Dyck in charge.
