Graber''', nee Stucky, daughter of Jacob C. and Barbara Prieheim Stucky, was born September 11, 1880, near Moundridge, Kansas, and passed away at the Bethel Hospital, Newton, Kansas, on January 25, 1946. Upon her baptism in 1896 she became a member of the First Mennonite Church of Christian, Moundridge. In 1902 she married Christian C. Graber with whom she shared life for forty-four years less one day. Their home was blessed with five daughters and four sons. These and her husband now mourn her. | |||

Maria M. Graber, Tochter von Jakob C. und Barbara Prieheim Stucky, wurde am 11. September 1880 geboren nah Moundridge, Kansas, wo sie lebenslänglich wohnte. Am 24. Mai, 1896 wurde sie auf das Bekenntnis ihres Glaubens getauft und als Glied in die Erste Mennonitengemeinde zu Christian Kansas (Moundridge, Kansas) aufgenommen, wo sie ein treues Glied bieb [sic blieb], bis der Herr sie zu sich rief. Sie trat mit Christian C. Graber in die Ehe am 26. Januar, 1902 und sie durften in gesegneter Ehe leben 44 Jahre weniger einen Tag. Ihr Heim wurde gesegnet mit fünf Töchtern und vier Söhnen, denen sie eine liebende Mutter, sowie sie auch ihrem Gatten eine treue Gehilfin war. Sieben Jahre lange litt sie am Herzen, trug aber geduldig das Leiden in Aufblick zum Herrn. Am 25. Januar 1946 entschlief sie friedlich im Bethel Hospital in Newton, Kansas im Alter von 65 Jahren, 4 Monaten und 14 Tagen. Sie bleibt in gesegnetem Andenkem [sic Andenken] dem traurenden Gatten, fünf Töchtern, vier Söhnen, 20 Großkindern, einer Schwester, drei Brüdern, sowie einem großen Freundeskreis.
