Minna Boese was born on June 5, 1893, to Abr. A. and Helena Letkeman Boese in Marion county, Kansas. She lost her mother in 1907, when she was 15 years of age. After this she assumed the responsibility of keeping house for her father, two brothers and one sister for several years, with the exception of one year when she attended the Bible Academy in Hillsboro. | |||
She was baptized by Ref. H. Banman in the spring of 1914. | |||
She had a great desire to go on to school and after her father was maried again she attended the academy at Behtel College for a number of years. later she attended Colorodo [''sic'' Colorado] University and received the B. S. degree. | |||
