Our father, John J. Krause, was born on February 6, 1870, in the village Gnadenthal, South Russia.  His parents were Jacob Krause and Anna Pankratz Kraus.  I 1871 he emigrated with his parents to the Untied States of North America, where they settled in McPherson Co., Kansas.  He was baptized upon the confession of his faith on June 6, 1892, and united with the Alexanderwohl Mennonite church, where he was a faithful member to the time of his death.

John J. Krause.

Our father, John J. Krause, was born on February 6, 1870, in the village Gnadenthal, South Russia. His parents were Jacob Krause and Anna Pankratz Kraus. I 1871 he emigrated with his parents to the Untied States of North America, where they settled in McPherson Co., Kansas. He was baptized upon the confession of his faith on June 6, 1892, and united with the Alexanderwohl Mennonite church, where he was a faithful member to the time of his death.
