David D. Krause of Hillsboro suffered a serious skull fracture Wednesday, June 17, which resulted in his death soon afterward at the Hillsboro hospital. | |||
The tragic accident happened as Mr. Krause was assisting several men at the Eitzen Tractor Co. in Hillsboro move a combine through a narrow door. A lever was accidentally released which struck Mr. Krause with such force that he lapsed into immediate unconsciousness. | |||
Funeral services were held at the Lehigh Mennonite church on Saturday afternoon, June 20, where a large gathering of friends was present to show sympathy for the bereaved family. | |||
Mr. Krause is survived by his wife and three children. | |||

David D. Krause of Hillsboro suffered a serious skull fracture Wednesday, June 17, which resulted in his death soon afterward at the Hillsboro hospital.
