Joseph H. Jantz.

Joseph H. Jantz, son of Henry B. and Elizabeth Jantz, was born Jan. 6, 1884, at McPherson, Kansas. He departed from this life Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1937, at the age of 53 years, 9 months and 13 days.

He moved from Kansas to Oklahoma in 1891 and has been a resident of Goltry for the last 20 years, during which time he was a prominent business man.

He joined the Zoar Mennonite church of Goltry in 1905, to which he was faithful until death.

He was united in marriage to Helma [sic Helena] Buller, Sept. 21, 1908, to which union were born two daughters.

He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Helma [sic Helena], two daughters, Mrs. Eugene Mills of Goltry; and Mrs. Herbert Eichinger of Jet; one grandson; three sisters, Mrs. Maggie Boese of Ft. Cobb; Mrs. Mary Unruh of Ringwood; and Mrs. Lena Koehn of Meno; and one brother, John Jantz of Goltry, and many friends.
