John E. Regier, 79, retired farmer and lifelong resident of the Whitewater community, died at Axtell Christian Hospital here on Feb. 26. The funeral was conducted Saturday afternoon at the Emmaus Mennonite Church with Rev. L. R. Amstutz officiating. Mr. Regier leaves his widow, Margaretha; a son, Arthur, of Kansas City, Kan.; four daughters, Mrs. Alma Dyck of Paso Robles, Calif., Miss Dora, missionary in Ecuador, Miss Wanda and Mrs. Hattie Dyck, both of Lincoln, Neb.; seven grandchildren; three sisters and three brothers.

John E. Regier, 79, retired farmer and lifelong resident of the Whitewater community, died at Axtell Christian Hospital here on Feb. 26.
