&bull;  Word has been received that Frank Smith, 60, who farmed for many years in Barton County, died Dec. 31 at his home in Pawnee Rock.  Funeral services were to be held Monday afternoon at the Bergthal Mennonite Church, of which he was a member.  He leaves his widow, the former Ethelena Unruh, sons Roland of Great Bend, James of Denver, Frank, Jr., of Phoenix, and Bert of El Dorado; daughter, Mrs. Joe Lewis of Larned; two brothers, four sisters and 10 grandchildren.
