SERVICES HELD FOR PIONEER SETTLER AT PRETTY PRAIRIE
Pretty Prairie, Kans. — Peter J. Waltner, 82, a native of Russia and resident of this community for 60 years, died at his home in Pretty Prairie on Aug. 13. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the First Mennonite church.
He is survived by his wife, Lena; a foster son, J. W. Krehbiel of Pretty Prairie, and daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Morris of Tulsa, Okla.; a brother, Joe Waltner and sister, Mrs. Lena Albright, both of Pretty Prairie.
