Welty, 79, of Newton passed away at the Mercy hosiptal [''sic''], Moundridge on Monday, Sept. 12, and funeral services were conducted at the First Mennonite Church of Christian, Moundridge, last Sunday afternoon. Mr. Welty had been in the hospital, first at Newton and then at Moundridge, for a number of months. He leaves seven sons and two daughters: Albert and Herbert of Newton, Gerhard and Quinton of Hesston, Harry of Windom, Walter, Ralph and Mary of Los Angeles, and Willitia of Pierre S. D. |

W. W. Welty, 79, of Newton passed away at the Mercy hosiptal [sic], Moundridge on Monday, Sept. 12, and funeral services were conducted at the First Mennonite Church of Christian, Moundridge, last Sunday afternoon. Mr. Welty had been in the hospital, first at Newton and then at Moundridge, for a number of months.
