— Eli D. Goering, 83, retired farmer of rural Galva, died April 22 at Axtell Christian Hospital here. He was a member of the Hopefield Mennonite Church near Moundridge, where the funeral was conducted Sunday afternoon with Rev. James Goering in charge. Mr. Goering was born in Harvey County, and was a lifelong resident of this area. He leaves his widow, the former Sarah Thiessen; sons David and Ernest, both of Galva; one daughter, Mrs. Jack Didier of Newton; three brothers and a sister, Miss Anna Goering, North Newton. | |||
