• Funeral services for Anna Franzen, 81, who died April 1 at the Bethesda Hospital in Goessel, were held Saturday afternoon at the Goessel Mennonite Church. Rev. Levi Koehn, the pastor, officiated. Miss Franzen was born near Goessel and lived in that community most of her life. She worked in hospitals at Goessel, McPherson and Abilene, and also did private nursing. She leaves three brothers, Henry of Topeka, John of Goessel, and Gerhard of Route 2, Canton; and one sister, Mrs. Sarah Klassen of Route 2, Canton. | |||
