• John W. Ewert, 87, retired drayman and mail carrier of Lehigh, died Saturday morning at the Bethesda Hospital in Goessel. Funeral services were held Tuesday forenoon at the Lehigh Mennonite Church with Rev. Henry Isaac officiating. Mr. Ewert spent most of his life in the Lehigh and Hillsboro communities, but also lived near Halstead for a number of years. Surviving are his widow the former Sarah Loewen, one daughter, one son, six grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters. | |||
