• Miss Katie Dirks, 75, a resident of Friendly Acres in Newton, died there Monday morning after an extended illness. The funeral was announced for 10 a.m. Monday at the Bethel College Church, of which she was a member, with Rev. Russell L. Mast officiating. A native of the Buhler community, Miss Dirks had lived here most of her life. She leaves two sisters, Mrs. R. J. Schrag of McPherson and Mrs. E. C. Eymann of Flagstaff, Ariz., and one brother, A. M. Dirks of Hesston. | |||
