+ | ● Relatives here received word that 90-year-old John P. Derksen, a resident of the Eventide Home at Mt. Lake, Minn., died Tuesday morning. He was one of the pioneer immigrants at Mt. Lake, coming to that community as a young boy. His grandchildren living in Kansas — Mr. and Mrs. Lester Derksen and family of Newton, Mildred Derksen, a student at Bethel College, Vernelle Derksen, who is employed at Hesston, and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Allmond of McPherson — plan to attend the funeral, to be held Friday afternoon at the First Mennonite Church of Mt. Lake. |
