John H. Claassen

John H. Claassen was born in Germany on February 16, 1864. He came to America with his parents in 1876, the family settling in Butler county, Kansas, which has since been his home. He easily learned the English language and was of material assistance to his parents in meeting the many demands of pioneer life.
