On December 17, 1896, near Congo, Montgomery county, Pa., Mrs. Mary Bechtel, widow of David H. Bechtel, aged 66 yrs., 6 mos. and 7 days. Her five sons all survive her. She was a faithful member of the Hereford Mennonite Church. The burial took place on the 23rd in the old Mennonite cemetery. Funeral services by Andrew Mack at the house and A. S. Shelly at the church, the latter preaching from Mark 7:37. | |||

Bechtel. — On December 17, 1896, near Congo, Montgomery county, Pa., Mrs. Mary Bechtel, widow of David H. Bechtel, aged 66 yrs., 6 mos. and 7 days. Her five sons all survive her.
