Berne, Ind. — Peter Bauman, 95, a native of Switzerland and one of the oldest citizens of this community, died July 4.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 6, in the First Mennonite Church, of which he was a member. Rev. Gordon J. Neuenschwander and Rev. Gerald Stucky officiated.
Mr. Bauman was preceded in death by his wife, Anna, who died in 1929. Surviving are five sons, three daughters, 18 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
